Made By Google 2024 Expected Launches

Google is expected to launch several products at its Made by Google event, here's everything you need to know about them.

Pixel 9 Series

The Pixel 9 series has been leaked several times by multiple publications. Google is taking a different route by launching three smartphones in the Pixel 9 Series: Pixel 9, the Pixel 9 Pro, and the Pixel 9 Pro XL. The leaked images of the Pixel 9 reveal that the phone will come with rounded corners and pill-shaped rear camera bars. These will be the display sizes of these phones:

Pixel 9: 6.24-inch

Pixel 9 Pro: 6.34-inch

Pixel 9 Pro XL: 6.73-inch

Tensor G4 SoC will power all three variants. The Pixel 9 may feature dual 50MP cameras, but the Pro and Pro XL may feature an additional periscope camera with 5x optical zoom. These devices feature a flat camera design, which is a major change over previous generation Pixel 8 devices. These devices are expected to feature up to 16GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.

Pixel Fold

Pixel Fold 2:

Google is rumoured to launch the second iteration of its foldable smartphone, the Pixel Fold 2. Based on the past leaks, the Fold 2 will have a new camera design, a new boxy look with curvy edges, and a matte finish similar to the Pixel 9. The device will be powered by a Tensor G4 chipset paired with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The Fold 2 will feature a 6.4-inch cover display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 7.9-inch inner display. It will have dual selfie cameras, one on the inner and one on the outer display.

Pixel Watch 3

Google is also expected to announce the Pixel Watch 3 at its Made By Google event. The upcoming Pixel Watch is expected to feature a 1.2-inch round AMOLED display, Bluetooth 5.3, and 2GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage. It will run Wear OS that could be powered by Gemini. Additionally, it may come with a 307mAh battery, which is 3mAh more than the battery of the Pixel Watch 2.
