Dyson Launches Cord-Free Wet Floor Cleaner, Wash G1 in India

Dyson has officially launched the Dyson Wash G1, its first cord-free wet floor cleaner in India. The Dyson Wash G1 is designed to handle both wet and dry debris, providing users with a convenient, hygienic cleaning solution for a barefoot clean feel. It features advanced hydration, absorption, and extraction technologies, with the capability to clean up to 3100 square feet on a single charge. Here is everything you need to know about it. 

Dyson Wash G1 Features

The Dyson Wash G1 can remove both wet and dry debris in one go. At the heart of its design are two counter-rotating rollers that are powered individually. These rollers are equipped with a pulse-modulated pump that distributes water across 26 hydration points along the full width of each roller, ensuring even water distribution for optimal cleaning.

Each roller is made from highly absorbent microfibre, with a density of 64,800 filaments per cm square. This combination allows the rollers to absorb liquid spills while picking up dry dirt, debris, and hair. Thanks to the dual-roller design, the machine ensures longer contact time with stains for faster, more effective stain removal.

The Dyson Wash G1 uses the brand's unique separation technology, which separates debris and dirty water at the source for hygienic disposal. The machine features a 500-micron debris tray that collects larger debris, while a 0.8-litre dirty water tank stores the extracted water, making it easy to dispose of waste without coming into contact with it.

For user convenience, the machine also features a self-cleaning mode. After each use, it flushes both rollers with clean water on the highest setting, preparing the machine for the next cleaning session.

Owners can control the level of hydration based on the type of debris or personal preference. There are low, medium, and high hydration modes, each with three additional sensitivity settings. For stubborn stains, a boost mode delivers maximum hydration to the rollers for deep cleaning. The rollers span the full width of the cleaner head, enabling edge-to-edge cleaning even in tight corners.

The Dyson Wash G1 wet floor cleaner is priced at Rs 64,900 in India. It is available for purchase through the official Dyson website and at Dyson Demo stores across the country. The product comes with a 2-year warranty including accidental damage protection.
