Google launched Android 15 Beta 2 with some major updates, from visual graphics to usability. Because of that, Android makers have resolved some serious issues, such as notification screen recording.

Non-Google brands like Xiaomi, IQOO, Lenovo, Nothing, Oneplus, Sharp, Oppo, Realme, Techno, Vivo, Mi, and Honour have received this new software.

Google always names its new Android software based on a dish. To continue the pattern, they have named their software, ‘Vanilla Ice Cream’.

The new Easter egg also looks very cool, and if you want to install the beta version on your Pixel, you need to follow certain steps and allow the beta version. The next update will arrive in June for all users.

This is the coolest update in recent years.

Let’s explore all the features of Android 15 (Vanilla Ice Cream) one by one:

Private Features:

Sometimes you want to give access to your phone to some users, but, at the same time, you want to save your private data. It functions similarly to an app locker; a feature already present on other Android-skin-based smartphones. However, some Android users prefer not to use additional apps for data control. With the new Android system, you can create a private space for data-sensitive apps.

Refined Panel Control:

We know that it’s easy to control volume levels on Android as compared to iOS. You can control the volume level for calls, media, notifications, and alarms, seamlessly. The new layout is simple; the slide bar is thicker now, and in case you want to choose the max volume level, you need to tap on a ‘dot’.

New Screen Recording:

Google is getting smarter day by day. Sometimes it solves critical problems with just one update. If you have ever used the screen recording feature, you know how irritating it is to hide notifications, especially personal messages or numbers. In Android 15, you can select only one app for screen recording, so there is no need to worry about other notifications.

However, users will still get the option to record the entire screen, including overlays.

Adaptive Vibrations:

Sometimes, high vibrations feel irritating, and now Google has solved that problem, as well. You don’t need to worry about intense vibrations if you keep your phone on the table; Google will adjust automatically, based on your environment.

If you keep it on a hard surface, the phone will vibrate softly. And, if you keep it on a soft surface, the vibrations will be the opposite.

Dual App Adjustment:

If you want to use two apps simultaneously, you can use the 'Picture in Picture' mode on Android or divide your screen into two parts.

In Vanilla Ice Cream Android, you can launch two apps, at the same time. You can create a group of two apps, and whenever you tap on the group, it will launch both apps integrated on the half-screen.

Android users will feel happy after this update, some major and minor changes are important to enhance user experience.
