Acer Super ZX and Super ZX PRO Smartphones Launched in India: Specs, Features, and Pricing

Acer has finally entered the Indian smartphone market again with the launch of two new smartphones, Acer Super ZX and Super ZX PRO. Teasing the devices for a while now, the company has now confirmed all details. Both the phones are designed to provide strong performance at affordable prices and will become available on Amazon.in from April 25.

Acer Super ZX: Entry-Level Power with High Refresh Rate Display

Acer Super ZX boasts a 6.8-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a silky-smooth 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate, ensuring a snappy experience. Powering it is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and up to 8GB physical RAM, plus an additional 8GB of virtual RAM expansion. The phone is pretty thin at 8.6mm.

For photography, the Super ZX comes with a triple rear camera system: a 64MP Sony LYTIA series main sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. At the front, the users receive a 13MP front camera for selfies. It also has a 5,000mAh battery for continuous use throughout the day.

Acer Super ZX PRO: High-end Features at an Affordable Price

Taking it further, the Acer Super ZX PRO provides a richer experience with its 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel, also refresh rate-capable at 120Hz. The device is backed by the next-generation MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor and has support up to 12GB of RAM, along with dynamic RAM extension.

The Super ZX PRO features a list of premium features such as the Acer Thermal Cooling system for improved heat dissipation, rapid UFS 3.1 storage, and an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. It further features stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision compatibility, and a metal-finish back panel for a more elegant look.

In the camera setup, the PRO variant boasts a 50MP primary Sony IMX882 sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 5MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies and video calls, it features a 50MP high-resolution front camera that supports 2K recording. It also features a 5,000mAh battery.

Pricing and Availability

The Acer Super ZX will cost from ₹9,990, while the Super ZX PRO will start from ₹17,990. The two devices will go on sale on Amazon India from April 25, and launch offers will be announced in the near future.
