You get a massive 11.5’’ 120Hz 2K display and Realme is calling it “Super Display,” but don’t fall for the tags. It’s an IPS LCD panel but you will miss the pitch-black effect.

I have tried many Android tablets this past year; some were value for money, but some failed to meet our expectations.

Today I tested Realme Pad 2. Initially, I thought that the brand had introduced it only for entertainment purposes. Still, after 4-5 hours, I realized that, if I consider the point, it is one of the most practical tablets, especially for office and college-going people.

Realme has already lined up the tablet game just like Apple; they also have mini variants with small displays, a pen for productivity work, and an additional keyboard to target workaholic buyers.

You get a large display; the tablet is just 7.2mm slim and weighs 518g. It has four speakers, an 8360mAh battery with a 33W fast charger, 256GB internal storage, and a Helio G99 processor.

Let’s unbox every single aspect of the Realme PAD 2.

Display: You get a massive 11.5’’ 120Hz 2K display, and Realme is calling it “Super Display,” but don’t fall for the tags. It’s an IPS LCD panel but you will miss the pitch-black effect.

Realme has managed refresh rates smartly; it comes with smart adaptive features, and refresh rates can go as low as 40 Hz and as high as 120 Hz. During videos and normal tasks, it can automatically switch to 60 Hz to save battery life.

It has hardware-level blue eye protection and DC dimming technology for better health of the user’s eyes. The text and images look sharp on this device's display because of the 2000x1200 resolution and 1 billion colour support.

I was able to consume contents in direct sunlight even after 450 nits of brightness. The panel quality of this one is impressive, and it supports the 01 Ultra Vision Engine.

4k Videos are easily playable, but I was struggling with a smooth PubG experience because of average processing power.

Battery Life and Software: Good software affects the battery life and processing power. Realme Pad 2 runs on Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0, which is exclusively made for Realme Tablets.
It comes with an 8360 mAh battery, and it took around 3.4 minutes when I charged the product the first time, but it is fruitful because it can give you around 20 hours of battery backup, and if you want more battery backup, you need to select a 60 Hz refresh rate.
Its massive battery also supports reverse wireless charging.

Speakers: Realme has four speakers with extra-large sound cavities for an immersive sound experience; two are placed on the right side, and two are placed on the left side. It comes with Hi-Res audio and Dolby Atmos support.
Speakers are decent; you would not feel any loss of sound during your entertainment content or games.

Camera Quality: Realme Pad 2 comes with an 8MP AI camera with f2.0 aperture and a 4P lens. It can shoot in 480P, 720P, and 1080. The camera is decent enough to scan your documents and has a 5 MP front-facing camera, which is decent enough to attend online meetings.

Special Features: A tablet is very different from a phone, not only because of the large display and speakers but also because it runs on special software.

Moreover, the “Realme UI 4.0 for Pad” comes with the following useful features:

Multi-screen Collaboration: It gives you access to control your phone from your tablet.

Dual Window: Suppose you want to do multiple tasks at the same time, you can simply enable the split screen feature.

Floating Window: The split screen feature gives you access to use two tabs simultaneously, but in a floating window, you can set one tab in the background and use another tab freely.
