I have an Infinix Note 40 Pro Plus and believe me no one talks about it, albeit that's the most important aspect of judging a phone. This phone comes with an introductory price of Rs 19,999.

The time is emerging and mid-range brands are giving tough competition to major brands. Today Infinix has unveiled curtains from the Note 40 series, to read more about first impressions.

In this review, I have covered all the topics so you can make your perfect decision:

Price-to-Feature Ratio:  I have an Infinix Note 40 Pro Plus and believe me no one talks about the price-to-feature ratio, which is the most important aspect of judging a phone. This phone came with an introductory price of Rs 19,999. The phone has an AMOLED curved display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, a 108MP main camera with two additional lenses, a MediaTek 7020 chipset, and more surprisingly wireless charging support.

Big brands are saving money by not providing basic chargers in the box but Infinix has promised they will give a “Magsafe” charging pad with charging brick and cable during the first sale.
Considering all the offers and on Paper specifications then it’s a win-win situation for new buyers, 2 years of Operating System (OS) update and 3 years of security updates is the cherry on the cake.

Display: I have tested Infinix Note 40 Pro in multiple situations and it never disappointed me. It has a 6.78-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and feels snappy in real life. If you are using a 60Hz refresh rate phone, you can easily notice it. The display also supports 1B colour, which means it’s easy for you to get more vibrant and beautiful colours 4k videos are easily enjoyable on this panel.
The main screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 but you have to apply a screen guard to save it from day-to-day scratches.

Processor: It comes with Octacore MediaTek 7020 SOC which is based on 6nm architecture and its four cores are clocked at 2.2GHz and another four cores are clocked at 2.0GHz. The processor is capable of handling day-to-day tasks, media consumption, and average gaming.

Camera: It has a triple rear setup, the main camera is 108MP and the other two cameras are 2MP+2MP and can shoot up to 2k at 30fps It also has a 50MP front camera which can shoot up to 2K at 30fps. the one thing that I wish big brands adopt from Infinix is the front LED flash you wouldn't notice it physically unless you turn it on manually.

Software: Finally, you can experience the latest Android 14 in this one. However, it uses Infinix’s UI XOS 14. The user experience is smooth, it has some bloatware but you can uninstall some unwanted applications. If security updates are important for you then I have good news for you, Infinix will provide 2 years of OS updates and 3 years of security updates, which means if you keep your device in good condition, you can use it till 2027 easily.

Folax Virtual Assistant: We know that Siri and Google Assistant are already in the market and these two brands are doing amazing but it’s hard to find any assistant in the budget range. Infinix has opened the door for the user and launched Folax.
During my tests, I noticed some hit-and-miss. I gave some tasks to the assistant but out of 5, the Folax completed only 3, and Just like other assistants you need to complete the whole setup.

Battery and Charging: Infinix has marketed a Magsafe wireless charger, Magnetic cover, and pad. It’s good to see that brands are getting inspiration from flagship products and are providing those stuff on a budget but you need to make some sacrifices, for example, the magnetic grip of the charger is not that strong.  You need to hold it or keep it somewhere so that it can charge your phone properly. You get a 100W charger. According to my average usage, I was getting 7-8 hours of Screen-On-Time reading.
