MSI Claw: The Ultimate Gaming Weapon

In the fourth quarter of 2023, Asus launched the Asus ROG Ally. It was a Windows-based gaming console. Based on the same pattern, MSI has launched the MSI Claw A1M with the tagline ‘Grip and Game’. Just like ROG Ally, it is also running on Windows 11.

Build and Finish: Gaming consoles are compact forms of large laptops with gaming keys. This one looks so similar to other consoles, but the mechanism is different. It follows ergonomics for the comfort of your hand placement. The more durable analogue sticks and triggers have hollow-effect RGB lights. 

On the top, it has a 7-inch screen. On the left, it has one view button, one key for the MSI centre, a left analogue stick, and a D-pad. On the right, it has a menu button, a quick settings button, ABXY buttons, and a right analogue stick. It also comes with a fingerprint scanner for privacy.

It also has all the important ports, like a 3.5mm audio jack, a Thunderbolt 4 port, an SD card reader, a fingerprint power button, a left bumper, and a macro 2 button.  

Display and battery: The device has a 7-inch LCD unit with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display has a full HD resolution, which is the same as the Asus Rog Ally. MSI has fitted a 6-cell, 53-watt-hour battery, and you get a 65-watt adapter to juice up the battery.

Performance, connectivity, and sound: It comes with an Intel Core Ultra 7 Processor with AI Booster, and to handle all the graphics, it has Intel Arc Graphics. On board, it comes with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD; the top model comes with 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. You can connect it with other devices using Intel Killer BE Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. The device has two 2W speakers and one microphone for a better gaming experience.
