Top carmaker Nissan has announced a price hike across its entire model range. According to official details, customers will see an increase of around 3 percent on all variants, which will come into effect from January 1, 2026. Notably, the revised prices will apply only to vehicles purchased from next year. Customers who have already booked their cars in 2025 will not be impacted by the price hike.
Nissan Cars Price Hike
This marks the second time price revision by Nissan in recent times. Earlier, the company implemented a similar hike around March–April 2025, making its entire portfolio more expensive. Amid this, the Nissan Magnite has somewhat bucked the trend by witnessing a price cut following a revision in the Goods and Services Tax (GST). The model received a reduction ranging between Rs 52,000 and Rs 1 lakh, depending on the variant.
Currently, the ex-showroom price of Nissan’s hot-selling Magnite ranges from Rs 5.62 lakh to Rs 10.76 lakh. However, these prices are expected to go up slightly after January 1. For customers planning to purchase any Nissan model, it would be wise to make a reservation before the end of 2025, as the price hike could translate to an additional cost of around Rs 17,000 to Rs 32,000, depending on the model and variant.
Nissan Cars in 2026
Meanwhile, Nissan is gearing up to expand its portfolio in India in 2026. The company is reportedly set to introduce three new models, giving customers more options to choose from. As per online reports, Nissan is expected to unveil the Tekton SUV, which will take on rivals like the Hyundai Creta.
The model is likely to be showcased in February 2026. Additionally, a 7-seater SUV based on the Tekton’s platform is also in the pipeline, although the brand has yet to reveal an exact launch or showcase timeline.
