iQOO has finally announced that it will launch the iQOO 15 in India on November 26. This comes after the company dropped a recent teaser for the smartphone, which had hinted at a launch in November. For those who are unfamiliar, the device has already been launched in China. Here’s what to expect.

iQOO 15 Will Come With OriginOS

iQOO India’s recent X post has showcased the iQOO 15 apart from revealing the Indian launch date. The smartphone features flat edges and a square-shaped rear camera bump. The post also confirms that the iQOO 15 will come with OriginOS, which recently replaced FunTouch OS in India.

OriginOS 6 is based on Android 16 and is claimed to bring a faster and smoother experience with the new Origin Smooth Engine. The new Origin Design will introduce several design changes, including the new Vivo Sans font, Dynamic Glow and Translucent Color (similar to Apple’s Liquid Glass design), Lock Screen and Home Screen Grids, and much more. The OS also focuses on AI and brings upgraded Gemini and Circle to Search, and the AI Retouch feature, among others.

iQOO 15 Specs and Features

While iQOO hasn’t spoken about the iQOO 15 specs in India, it will be similar to the Chinese model. The phone is one of the firsts to get the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and will be backed by a 7,000mAh battery with 100W wired charging. You can expect a 6.85-inch AMOLED display, a 50MP triple rear camera setup, and more premium specs.
