Updated Harley Davidson X440: Details Here

Harley-Davidson in India has now updated the X440 bike and this update caters to those buyers who want the bike in attractive colours. The renowned two-wheeler manufacturer has introduced three new colours, now totalling the colour options to seven. 

In addition to that, the 2024 Harley Davison X440 has incorporated a new badging on the fuel tank, which complements these new colour options. 

The Harley Davidson X440 has a starting ex-showroom price of Rs 2.39 lakh. 

Overview

In this update, the company has given two new colour options to the mid-spec Vivid variant. This variant is currently priced at Rs 2.60 lakh (ex-showroom). The two new colour options comprise Mustard and Goldfish Silver. 

The Mustard colour in that variant has front and rear fenders painted in yellow, while the Harley Davidson logo is now finished in silver colour. 

Moreover, the brand has also added a new colour to the X440’s ‘S’ variant, called the Baja Orange. The X440 S variant has an ex-showroom price of Rs 2.80 lakh. This new colour scheme has a bright shade of orange, but unlike the mid-spec variant, it does not feature a silver-finished Harley Davidson logo. 

Keeping these updates aside, this entry-level Harley Davidson bike continues to be mechanically the same. That being said, the X440 houses a 440cc air/oil-cooled engine single-cylinder engine, which is tuned to produce 27bhp and 38Nm of peak torque. The power is drawn via a six-speed gearbox. This gearbox also has a slipper clutch feature. 

The braking duties are taken care of by single discs on the front and rear ends, accompanied by the dual-channel ABS. 

The Harley Davidson X440 has a 13.5-litre fuel tank and boasts an 805mm seat height and a kerb weight of 194kg. Its ground clearance is rated at 170mm.
