Bengaluru-based startup Ultraviolette has launched a facelifted version of their performance electric two-wheeler the F77. The homegrown Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 electric bike was first launched in 2022 in our country.
Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 Specifications and Pricing Details
The F77 pre-facelift looks like sports naked and the same is with the new F77 Mach 2. The facelifted bike has two variants: Mach 2 standard and F77 Mach 2 Recon. In terms of visual appearance, both these variants look identical but hardware and performance figures are different.
The standard F77 Mach 2 has a 7.1kWh battery which gives it 211km of IDC claimed range, whereas the F77 Mach 2 Recon gets a bigger 10.3kWh battery pack and a longer claimed range of 323km.
The F77 Mach 2 gets 36.2hp of power and 90Nm of torque, while the F77 Mach 2 Recon gets 40.2hp and 100Nm of torque. These are impressive numbers, and that too after comparing them with similarly-priced ICE counterparts.
This offering can go from 0 to 100kph in 7.8 seconds. The brand claims that the facelifted iteration can have a top speed of 155kph.
Ultraviolette is now offering features such as switchable rear ABS, traction control system, hill hold assist and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), an ability to set the charge limit for the EV and more. The first 1000 customers will get these features bundled with the bike for free and will be offered as an optional accessory afterwards. Both the bikes have a Multi-function 5" TFT display for instrumentation which runs UV Automotive Linux OS.
One can book the bike in 15 Indian cities as of now. However, the brand plans to open around 20 new showrooms across the country. The standard F77 Mach 2 and F77 Mach 2 Recon are priced at Rs 2.99 lakh and Rs 3.99 lakh, respectively. All are introductory ex-showroom prices, pan India.
