Tata has released a teaser video of their highly anticipated SUV coupe, the Tata Curvv. The vehicle has been in the limelight since its unveiling at the Auto Expo 2023. Later at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2024, we saw the near-production model of the ICE Tata Curvv, which is also expected to launch after the Curvv EV’s launch.

Tata Curvv EV: Expected Offerings

The Tata Curvv EV will become the second vehicle in Tata’s EV lineup to be built upon the born electric, Acti.ev platform after the Tata Punch. Like the Tata Punch, this is also expected to be offered in two versions, one with a medium-range battery pack and the other with a long-range battery pack.

The teaser video reveals the already-known coupe shape of the car with a sloping roofline appearance, the video also highlights the SUV will have features like flush door handles, aerodynamic alloy wheels, connected LED taillamps, similar headlight and LED DRL layout, as the Tata Nexon.

The teaser also reveals some of the colour options of the Tata Curvv.

Not much is known about Curvv’s interior yet, but we expect it to be similar to the Nexon and Harrier, plus it may borrow some features from them.

The vehicle is expected to be loaded with features such as a 12.3-inch infotainment display, a fully digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and so on. Further details will be declared once launched.

Safety features like 6-airbags, ABS, EBD, electronic parking brake, ADAS, etc., are expected in the Tata Curvv EV. Considering the build quality of Tata cars, this upcoming homegrown electric SUV from Tata is also expected to obtain a 5-star safety rating at the crash test.

Tata Curvv EV: Marketing

The EV is expected to offer up to 500km of driving range in its long-range variant, which should be on par with most of its upcoming rivals like the Maruti Suzuki eVX, Creta EV, etc.
