The Tokyo-based company Okaya has entered the two-wheeler electric market with the Ferrato Disruptor. This new iteration is introduced under Okaya’s ‘Ferrato’ brand. Currently, the Okaya Ferrato Disruptor has an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs 1.60 lakh. This price is subject to change without any prior notice.

Okaya Ferrato Disruptor: Appearance and Features
In terms of appearance, the Ferrato Disruptor has a very sporty appeal. It is a fully-faired bike by Okaya. It has graphics on its body panels and a vertically-frame mounted battery pack behind the body panel.
Some people might perceive this bike as gasoline-powered because it looks like a regular fully-faired bike but doesn’t look as futuristic as Ultraviolette bikes.
This Disruptor EV has three colour options: Inferno Red, Midnight Shine and Thunder Blue.
However, the Okaya Disruptor has new-age features and is only available in a standard variant. This electric bike has a fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity. This display shows relevant readings, such as speed, range, distance, battery level, and time.
Furthermore, it also has a USB charging port, under-seat storage, GPS connectivity and external speakers. It also benefits from riding modes- Eco, City and Sport. In addition, the owner of this bike can also check its live location, Find my Vehicle, etc., which translates to telematics features.
For lighting, the 2024 Disruptor bike has an LED headlight, LED taillamp, and LED turn signals.
As for convenience, this electric bike also has a reverse parking assist.
Okaya Ferrato Disruptor: Specifications
In terms of specifications, the Okaya Ferrato Disruptor holds a battery pack of 3.97 kWh; and a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM). It has a peak power of 6.37kW and has a nominal torque of 45Nm, which can go up to 228Nm of peak torque.
Plus, this battery pack is of lithium-ion (Li) with a gradability of IP67.
With this setup, the company claimed a single-charge range of 129 kilometres. Plus, it takes 5 hours to replenish the battery from 0-100%. This electric bike has a top speed of 95 km/h.
Besides that, the Okaya Ferrato Disruptor stands on a telescopic fork at the front and mono-shock suspension at the rear. The braking duties are taken care of by disc brakes on both ends.
