Hero MotoCorp recently patented the design of the 2025 Hero Destini 125. The images of the patented design have been circulating online, and they depict cosmetic upgrades of the scooter. The cosmetics changes included contemporary design elements, as well as, retro-inspired design language.
The company hasn’t announced details about this upcoming 125cc scooter, but we’ll tell you all the details we have so far.
Overview
As mentioned above, the 2025 Hero Destini 125 incorporates a blend of contemporary and retro-inspired design language. The flat side panel of the scooter has a retro look, alongside a stretched taillight setup. The image of the front fascia remains to be seen, but the industry reports speculate that it will have an LED headlamp setup with copper inserts.
Furthermore, this homegrown 125cc scooter is expected to receive a metal exhaust heat cover and a new set of alloy wheels, plus it may feature a black and brown colour theme.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the 2025 Hero Destini 125 is reportedly to retain the same 125cc engine as the ongoing version of the Destini. That said, it will continue to house a 124.6-cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, which is tuned to produce 9bhp at 7000rpm and 10.4Nm of peak torque at 5500rpm. It will draw power from the CVT automatic gearbox.
Aside from that, the available Destini 125 stands on a telescopic suspension at the front and a mono-shock at the rear. The braking duties are taken care of by front and rear drum brakes, both measuring 130mm. However, we expect the new iteration to get an optional disc brake variant. In addition, the current version runs on a 10-inch alloy wheel, but the new iteration might get upsized alloy wheels to 12 inches.
On the features front, the 2025 Destini scooter is likely to carry over the features from the current version, but it is deemed that the next iteration will have some new offerings as well.
However, the rest of the details about this scooter are yet to be announced.
