MY24 Mercedes-Benz C-Class: All You Need to Know

Not long ago, Mercedes-Benz recently launched the updated MY24 (manufacturing year ‘24) C-Class in India, priced at Rs 61.85 lakh for the base variant, C200 and goes up to Rs 69 lakh for the top-spec C300 AMG Line. All are ex-showroom figures, as of August 2024.

This year manufactured C-Class received a revised feature list, plus it got a new petrol engine. 

So, let’s delve into the offerings of the MY24 Mercedes-Benz C-Class. 

Added Offerings

Unlike earlier, the updated C-Class now offers cooled- and heated- seats for the front passengers. It also gets a 360-degree camera, an adaptive high-beam assist, a digital key handover, and a USB Package Plus. For those unaware, the latter is essentially a combination of six USB Type-C ports with 100W charging capabilities.

Two Type-C ports are positioned on the centre console, front centre armrest, and rear centre armrest.

Another offering the luxury automaker added to the India-spec MY24 Mercedes-Benz C-Class includes a new exterior colour option, called the Sodalite Blue, which is a replacement for the outgoing Cavansite Blue option. 

Moreover, this specific iteration also has a new Manufaktur Patagonia Red Metallic exterior colour paint (optional), a Keyless-Go package, augmented reality for navigation, and a blind-spot assist. Notably, the interior and exterior both get the Comfort Package, Night Package, digital lights, and Burmester Surround Sound audio system. 

Specifications

Mercedes-Benz India discontinued the top-spec diesel version, which was the C300d. So, as of 2024, the top-spec C-Class is the C300 AMG Line variant, which is a petrol iteration. Under the hood, there is a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine, which is tuned to churn out 258bhp and 400Nm of peak torque.

The power is sent to the front wheels via a 9-speed automatic transmission. With this engine and transmission combination, the company claims that the C300 can sprint from 0-100kmph in six seconds. 

Prices and Rivals

The MY24 Mercedes-Benz C-Class in India has three variants on offer: C200, C220d and C300 AMG Line. They are priced at Rs 61.85 lakh, 62.85 lakh, and 69 lakh, respectively. All are ex-showroom figures, as of August 2024.
