Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 Launched at Rs 2.25 Crore

The Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 is the first electric Maybach from the German automaker. This is also the second-most expensive EV car after the Lotus Eletre in India.

Mercedes-Benz India has launched the 2024 EQS 680, with a price tag of Rs 2.25 crore. This is one of the most luxurious and expensive electric cars in the world, thanks to its attractive exterior design, uniquely luxurious interior, and of course, the Maybach branding. 

Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680: Exterior and Interior Details

The vehicle screams premium from every corner. The front fascia houses the iconic Maybach grille and signature 'Maybach-centric' ornament which attracts eyeballs at the very first glance.

It gets LED lights with a connected LED bar which looks futuristic. The rear of the vehicle also has a connected LED taillamp which looks attractive when lit. The overall lighting designs are the same as the standard EQS.

In terms of equipment, the vehicle has a Digital-Light technology, which includes Adaptive High Beam Assist Plus and ULTRA RANGE high beam for clear visibility at night. 

The interior of the first electric Maybach is also full of lights, as it gets a 64-colour ambient lighting setup and 13 different lighting combinations.

Apart from that, the cabin is surrounded by vegetable-tanned leather and Econyl carpets. It also features a Burmester-sourced 15-speaker 4D surround sound system with Dolby Atmos support, alongside 8 exciters (seats-integrated speakers) so that all the passengers can feel the music.

The vehicle gets real luxury in the rear row as well. It is equipped with ventilated seats, massage seats, a refrigerator, flute glasses, folding tables, dual 11.6-inch screens, and a bucket load of comfort and convenience features for a luxurious and comfortable drive.

Mercedes-Maybach EQS: Performance and Expected Pricing

The vehicle is powered by a twin-motor setup which churns out 650hp and 950Nm of torque. It is also equipped with a large 108.4kWh battery pack and has a claimed driving range of 600km on a single charge. 

As for the pricing, the 2024 Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 carries an ex-showroom price of Rs 2.25 crore. It is India's second most expensive electric vehicle after the Lotus Eletre SUV.
