Maruti Suzuki India Limited has now rolled out attractive discounts on their compact SUV, the Grand Vitara.
The Grand Vitara hybrid boasts the highest benefits comprising a Rs 50,000 customer benefit, an exchange offer worth up to Rs 50,000, a three-year extended warranty, and up to Rs 5,000 corporate benefit.
In parallel, the Delta smart hybrid versions attract a discount worth up to Rs 64,000. This benefit includes a Rs 30,000 consumer benefit, an exchange offer worth up to Rs 30,000, and a Rs 4,000 corporate discount.
The mild-hybrid-based Zeta and Alpha trims have advantages worth up to Rs 74,000. It includes a Rs 4000 corporate discount, a Rs 30,000 exchange offer, and a Rs 40,000 consumer benefit.
Lastly, the Sigma and CNG trims of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara have fewer benefits. Both can have a corporate discount worth up to Rs 4,000, meanwhile, CNG and Sigma have cash discounts of Rs 10,000 and Rs 30,000, respectively. No exchange offer is available on these two trims.
Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara: Specifications
The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara has the same underpinnings as the Toyota Hyryder.
This homegrown compact SUV has options for two engines: a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid and a 1.5-litre strong-hybrid. The mild-hybrid unit generates 102bhp, whereas the strong-hybrid generates 114.4bhp.
The Grand Vitara CNG, on the other hand, has a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid petrol engine which is coupled with the CNG kit, having a decreased output of 86.6bhp and 121.5Nm of peak torque. The CNG version is limited to a five-speed manual transmission.
More so, the mild-hybrid can be had with either a five-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission, while the strong-hybrid version is exclusive to the e-CVT gearbox.
There is also an optional all-wheel drive configuration, exclusive to the mild-hybrid variant and the five-speed manual transmission.
Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara: Features
This vehicle has a long list of features. The 2024 Grand Vitara is equipped with a wireless charger, a panoramic sunroof, a heads-up display, ventilated front seats, auto HVAC, voice command, engine start/stop button, ambient lighting with footwell lamps, etc.
It also has an auto HVAC, a centre console armrest, voice command, auto headlamps, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, a touchscreen infotainment unit (with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay), and LED headlights with LED DRLs.
For safety, this vehicle has six airbags, a 360-degree camera, central locking, a tyre pressure monitoring system, an anti-glare IRVM, a rear camera with guidelines, and a hill assist, to name a few.
Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara: Marketing
The mild-hybrid Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara has a starting price of Rs 10.99 lakh for the base variant, the Sigma Petrol MT, and goes up to Rs 17.17 lakh for the Alpha AWD Petrol MT.
Meanwhile, the strong hybrid variant starts from Rs 18.43 lakh for the Zeta Plus Hybrid CVT trim and it goes up to Rs 20.09 lakh for the top-most variant, the Alpha Plus Hybrid CVT DT.
