Launched: Maruti Suzuki Fronx Delta+ (O) Model, Priced at Rs 8.93 Lakh

Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) added another variant of the Fronx, the Delta+ (O), which carries a price tag of Rs 8.93 lakh, ex-showroom. This variant is positioned above the Delta+ variant, having a price difference of Rs 15,000.

The newly added variant is only equipped with selected safety features. However, let’s delve into the offerings of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx. 

Maruti Suzuki Fronx: Offerings 

The newly added variant of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx has only received two things- a tyre repair kit and six airbags. The new mid-spec variant, however, has the same offerings as the other variants, such as a multi-function steering wheel, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay (both wireless), and electrically-operated ORVMs. 

It also has a keyless entry, auto HVAC, a four-speaker audio system, rear parking sensors, electronic stability control (ESC) with ABS, and dual airbags.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx: Specifications

The Delta+ (O) variant of the Fronx is powered by a 1.2-litre DualJet, naturally-aspirated, petrol engine, which is tuned to churn out 88.50bhp at 6000rpm and 113Nm of peak torque at 4400rpm. This four-cylinder engine, powering the front wheels, is mated to a five-speed manual transmission.

The Maruti Suzuki Fronx has a top speed of 180km/h. 

This sub-compact crossover vehicle has a fuel tank capacity of 37 litres and has an ARAI-claimed mileage of 21.79kmpl.   

Besides that, this vehicle has a MacPherson Strut at the front and a torsion beam at the rear. As for the brakes, the Delta+ (O) variant has disc and drum brakes at the front and rear, respectively. It runs on a 16-inch alloy wheel on either side. 

Maruti Suzuki Fronx: Pricing 

The Maruti Suzuki Fronx is offered in five broad trims: Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Zeta, and Alpha. The Fronx’s price starts at Rs 7.51 lakh for the base variant, Sigma Petrol MT, and goes up to Rs 13.04 lakh for the top variant, Alpha Turbo-Petrol DT AT.
