This vehicle needs no introduction because the Mahindra Bolero PikUp is India's one of the most popular pickup trucks. This iteration has several variants, and the Extra Long FB 1.7T variant is one of them.

As the '1.7T' name suggests, this vehicle has a payload capacity of up to 1.7 tonnes in its bed and is loved by business owners, farmers, construction workers, and others from the commercial sectors.

Mahindra Bolero PikUp Extra Long FB 1.7T: Specifications

The pickup truck is powered by a four-cylinder m2DiCR 2.5-litre turbo diesel engine that produces 75hp at 3200rpm and 200Nm between 1400-2200 rpm. This torque output at the lower end of the rev range helps this machine carry extreme load seamlessly. The 2024 Bolero PikUp truck's engine is compliant with the latest BS6 2.0 emission norms

This engine is coupled with a five-speed manual transmission which sends all the horses to the rear wheels in the standard variant, however, the brand also offers a 4x4 iteration of the truck and gets a 57-litre diesel tank.

The suspension duties are handled by rigid axle and leaf springs at the front and the rear, plus this Mahindra PikUp truck gets disc brakes at the front and drums at the rear to stop those standard 195/65R15 rims from rolling.

Mahindra Bolero PikUp Extra Long FB 1.7T: Dimensions

The Mahindra Bolero PikUp Extra Long FB 1.7T is 5215mm long 1700mm wide and 1865mm tall, the truck has a wheelbase of 3264mm and the ground clearance is 175mm when the vehicle is fully loaded, which is adequate for most of the Indian roads.

Mahindra Bolero PikUp Extra Long FB 1.7T: Interior

The interior of the truck is not a very fancy place, there are no steering-mounted controls, no touchscreen infotainment system, and everything from the dashboard to the door trims is made up of hard plastics. However, it is perhaps tacit that buyers purchasing commercial vehicles keep party features as their last priority.

More so, the brand offers air conditioning and power steering as an option. The instrument cluster is fully digital, which is kept standard, and looks very similar to the one on the OG Mahindra Bolero.

Mahindra Bolero PikUp Extra Long FB 1.7T: Price

The Mahindra Bolero PikUp Extra Long FB 1.7T is priced at Rs 9.12 lakh (average ex-showroom) and competes with ISUZU D-Max and Tata Yodha Pickup.
