Japanese automobile giant Lexus has launched their MPV, the Lexus LM 350h in the Indian market. It is the company’s flagship product in the country priced at Rs 2 crore and 2.5 crore (ex-showroom) for the 7-seater VIP and 4-seater Ultra Luxury variants respectively. At these prices, Lexux LM 350h has become the country’s most expensive MPV surpassing the Toyota Vellfire which starts at 1.2 crore rupees(ex-showroom).
Build & Exterior Design
Lexus LM 350h utilizes Toyota Vellfire’s GA-K modular platform and is completely built over it. At the front, the vehicle gets a huge spindle grille, LED headlamps, and vertically mounted fog lamps. Like the Toyota Vellfire, this also gets sliding rear doors and huge window glasses to make the cabin airy. At the back, the MPV gets connected LED taillamps and a light bar above that with Lexus lettering laid out in the middle. Dimensions of Lexus LM 350h are 5130mm long, 1890mm wide, and 1945mm tall.
Performance
Propelling Lexus LM 350h is a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder hybrid motor. The motor is coupled with a nickelmetal hydride battery for a combined power output of 250hp & 239Nm and it is mated to an eCVT transmission. The MPV comes equipped with a Lexus E-Four all-wheel drive system.
Interior Features
The 4-seater Luxury variant of the Lexus LM 350h is loaded with convenience and comfort features. In this MPV, the driver’s cabin and rear seats are partitioned with a dimmable and height-adjustable glass panel. There are two recliner seats, a 23-speaker surround sound audio system, a 48-inch TV, a fridge, rear glove compartments, an umbrella holder, and whatnot.
The MPV gets noise-reduction wheels and tyres and an active noise control system for a quiet and comfortable riding experience.
Safety
The MPV is loaded with safety features like a digital rear-view mirror, Lexus Safety System+ ADAS, along with a stationary/preceding vehicle detection system, dynamic radar cruise control, automatic high beam, blind spot monitor, and many more for a safe and comfortable journey.
