Lexus India Now Offers 8-Year/1.60 Lakh Km Warranty on New Models

Lexus India has announced that they have increased the warranty from 3 years/1 lakh km to 8 years/1.60 lakh km. Applicable on Lexus cars that were sold from June 1, 2024.

Given the latest announcement from the Toyota-owned luxury brand, all Lexus cars sold from June 1, 2024, are eligible for an extended warranty. That said, the warranty has now increased from 3 years/1 lakh km to 8 years/1.60 lakh kilometre, whichever comes first.  

The models available at Lexus in India comprise NX, RX, LX, LM, and LS. The first three models are SUVs, while the LM and LS are an MUV and a sedan, respectively. For those unaware, Lexus made its India debut in 2017, and since then, the company has witnessed great success. 

Sharing his opinion on this offering, Tanmay Bhattacharya, Executive Vice President of Lexus India, stated, “The new vehicle warranty of 8 years/1,60,000 km reinforces our commitment of superior quality, durability, and reliability in every Lexus vehicle and signifies advancement in offering unmatched warranty and providing absolute peace of mind to our esteemed guests. They can now experience the outstanding luxury and performance of their Lexus.”

Other Highlights

Besides offering extended warranty on new models, Lexus India will also assist their customers with tailored solutions in finance, servicing options, roadside assistance (RSA), and insurance. The company states that these comprehensive services will ensure a seamless ownership experience. 

Recent Launches from Lexus

Not long ago, Lexus India recently launched two products: the LM 350h MUV and the Overtrail Edition of the NX350. The former has a starting price of Rs 2 crore, while the latter is priced at Rs 71.17 lakh. Both are ex-showroom figures, as of June 2024. 

Both offerings are powered by the same hybrid-based engine, which is a 2.5-litre petrol-hybrid engine that is tuned to churn out 187.74bhp at 6000rpm and 240Nm of peak torque between 4300-4500rpm. In addition, both iterations make all wheels spin (AWD) via the e-CVT gearbox.
