The Italian automobile manufacturer recently announced the latest and last version of their V10 supercar, the Huracan STJ. It will be succeeded by a hybrid performance vehicle that will be showcased later this year. Besides that, Lamborghini will produce only ten units of the Huracan STJ. The ‘STJ’ name stands for Super Trofeo Jota. This name is derived from Lamborghini’s prestigious one-make championship.

The Exclusivity

The Lamborghini Huracan STJ is directly related to the STO version. But to make its last V10 iteration exclusive, the Lamborghini Squadra Corse unit (Lamborghini’s Motorsport division) created an aerodynamic body kit package for this supercar.

With that body-kit package, the Huracan STJ V10 is equipped with carbon fibre flaps and a new aerodynamic rear wing. With these added elements, Lamborghini's last V10 icon has improved aerodynamic efficiency by ten per cent, while retaining optimal balance and handling.

Apart from that, this supercar packs carbon fibre canards placed on either side of the front bumper. As part of the package, the Huracan STJ also has four-way shocks and 20-inch centre-lock wheels, coupled with Bridgestone-sourced Potenza Race ultra-high-performance tyres.

The Lamborghini Huracan STJ also offers options for two head-turning liveries. The first option comprises a Blue Eliadi (Blue) exterior shade, while the other is Grigio Telesto (Grey) paint. Both colour options have a standard black-coloured roof, along with red and white colour inserts on different exterior panels.

Interestingly, the interior of this Italian supercar will have a commemorative plaque made of carbon fibre which will display a serial number ranging from 1-10, representing the individuality of each unit. In addition, the client also gets an option to add a custom plate on the passenger’s side.

Inside the Huracan STJ, you will be welcomed with black Alcantara seats, which are complemented by red stitching, exuding a full-fledged high-performance feel.

Performance

As far as the performance is concerned, the Lamborghini Huracan STJ version was scrupulously tested at the Nardo Ring track by Lamborghini and achieved a slightly better time lap than the Huracan STO iteration. Albeit, powering this stallion is the same 5.2-litre, naturally-aspirated V10 petrol engine that also powers the Huracan STO.

This unit, coupled with a seven-speed dual-clutch (LDF- Lamborghini Doppia Frizione) transmission pumps out 630bhp at 8000rpm and 565Nm of peak torque at 8000rpm, which powers rear wheels only.

However, thanks to the improved aerodynamics, the Huracan STJ managed to achieve a better lap time at the Nardo Ring circuit.
