The KTM 390 Enduro has been spied testing on Indian soil, indicating that the brand is working towards bringing this motorcycle to our country. The Enduro is a hardcore offroad-focused iteration of the KTM 390 Adventure.
KTM 390 Enduro Spied: All We Know
The leaked image has the typical KTM dual-sport design language which further confirms that it is the Enduro. Other than this, the tall beak-shaped front fender, sharp tank extensions, single-piece seat, spoke wheels, and minimal design language of the motorcycle indicate that this is an off-road-oriented machine.
In the spy images, the instrument console of the motorcycle is not clearly visible, however, it is expected to be a TFT unit with modern features like Bluetooth connectivity.
The KTM 390 Enduro motorcycle borrows its 399cc engine and chassis from the KTM 390 Duke, although, the similarities end here and all the other components of the motorcycle are significantly different from its Duke counterpart.
Since the motorcycle runs on wire-spoke wheels, it won’t have the convenience of tubeless tyres, as it will be equipped with tubed tyres.
Another area of difference between the Enduro and Duke is braking. The former iteration uses axially-mounted front brake callipers, whereas the Duke uses radially-mounted callipers. Aside from that, thIS 390cc KTM Enduro has borrowed its banana-shaped alloy swingarms from the next-gen 390 Adventure.
As clearly evident in the spy shot, the motorcycle has a saree guard installed, which indicates its imminent Indian launch. However, it is still not confirmed whether it will launch alongside the new generation of the KTM 390 Adventure or later, therefore, further details are awaited.
