Kia introduced the Carens in the Indian market in February 2022. It is among the top-selling Kia cars since its inception. After two successful years, the brand is ready to give Kia Carens a well-deserved facelift. A test mule’s spy shots have leaked online hinting at a few design changes.

Kia Carens Facelift: Design and Features

The spy shot of the test mule reveals only the rear end of the 2025 Carens. By taking a closer look at this picture, the taillamp design seems revised, however, the placement and layout appear to be the same. One new thing could be the addition of a connected taillight feature as seen on other Kia cars.

We also expect the car’s overall appearance to change, this may include a newly designed front grille, headlamps, front bumper, rear bumper and more. The alloy wheel design is also expected to be altered to give the side profile of the MPV a fresh look. There aren’t any interior spy shots out yet. But we can expect the vehicle to feature a new layout and colours to uplift the cabin feel. We can expect the MPV to borrow features like ADAS and curved connected displays from its SUV sibling, the Seltos.

Kia Carens Facelift: Performance

The performance components are going to be the same as the pre-facelift model. The vehicle will probably continue with its 1.5 turbo-diesel, 1.5 naturally-aspirated (NA) petrol, and 1.5 turbo-petrol engine options which can be mated with a 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT, 6-speed torque converter or a 7-speed DCT, depending on the variant you choose.

Kia Carens Facelift: Pricing and Competition

The ongoing Kia Carens has a starting price of Rs 10.52 lakh and goes up to Rs 19.67 lakh, ex-showroom. We can expect a little premium pricing for the facelifted model because of all the additional features. The Carens is already giving competition to the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Toyota Innova. This competition will get even more interesting when it arrives in its new avatar.
