Kawasaki is all set to bring yet another classic retro motorcycle, the Kawasaki W230 to the Japanese market and hopefully, this will make its way to the Indian market as well. It follows the typical old-school design language as the Kawaski W175.

The motorcycle screams retro from every angle. Its headlamps, turn indicator, rearview mirrors, and instrument console dials, all have circular designs. The motorcycle’s spoke wheels, exhaust, and many other aesthetic elements are chrome-finished, increasing its retro charm.

The W230 will most probably share its powerhouse with the KLX 230. The latter has a 233-cc single-cylinder mill, which churns out 20hp at 8,000rpm and 20.6Nm at 6,000rpm. We expect the same power figures from the W230 bike.

Handling the suspension duties here will be the telescopic forks at the front, which will be gaitered for the old school look. At the rear, the motorcycle will be mounted on twin shock absorbers.

It will get an 18-inch front spoke wheel and a 17-inch rear spoke wheel, along with disc brakes on both ends and dual channel ABS for better braking performance.

Kawasaki W230: Expected Pricing and Rivals

As mentioned above, Kawasaki will intially sell the new W230 roadster bike in Japan, which will go on sale during this year's fall season. After Japan, the European sales will commence.

Kawasaki India hasn't announced any information on this bike. But if it ever launches, this bike will lock horns with the Royal Enfield Bullet 350, Classic 350, and Honda 350 series, especially considering its specifications.
