The Japanese automobile manufacturer Kawasaki has added another model to their Indian portfolio, called the Ninja ZX-4RR. This is a limited-edition version, which is priced at Rs 9.10 lakh, ex-showroom. This limited-run iteration will only be offered in Kawasaki Racing Green bodypaint- a combination of Lime Green and Ebony colours.

Like all Ninja bikes, the overall design of this bike is also sharp and aggressive. That said, the way the company has made the shape of the LED headlamp, accompanied by sporty-looking fairing and an angular tail section, makes this bike imposing.

Features

The 2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR has an all-LED light setup, and a TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, which translates to connected bike technology.

This CBU bike is also equipped with a quick shifter, two power modes, a slipper clutch, traction control, and a dual-channel ABS. It also has four riding modes: Sport, Road, Rain, and customisable Rider mode.

Specifications

This limited edition Kawasaki bike is structured on a WorldSBK-inspired steel trellis frame. The suspension duties are taken care of by 37mm inverted Showa separate-functioning forks with pre-load adjustability at the front and horizontal back-link Showa mono-shock at the rear.

The latter, however, can be adjusted for preload, rebound and compression.

Besides that, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR is powered by a tried and tested 399cc, four-cylinder engine, which is tuned to release 76bhp at 14,500rpm and 39Nm of peak torque at 13000rpm.

It is also worth mentioning that without the RAM air, the power will be 76bhp, but after RAM air, power increase to 80bhp. This liquid-cooled engine draws power from a six-speed transmission, supported by a bi-directional quick-shifter and slipper clutch.

As for the braking, this sports bike is loaded with 290mm dual disc brakes and a 220mm disc brake at the front and rear, respectively, assisted by dual-channel ABS.

Both ends stand on a 17-inch alloy wheel.

Pricing

Since this is a limited edition offering from Kawasaki India, plus it’s a CBU version; the price tag is Rs 9.10 lakh, ex-showroom. Comparatively, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R has an ex-showroom price of Rs 8.49 lakh.
