While other motorcycle brands trying to create value in the market, Kawasaki has launched new colour schemes for the Ninja 300 without changing any specifications. They are already giving tough competition to the Yamaha R3, Aprilia RS 457, and KTM RC 390.

Kawasaki Ninja 300: Colour Schemes

Kawasaki's official website claims that the company has made the green colour famous in the automobile world, and those “Green Meanies” began to inspire fear and awe in their rivals. The Ninja 300 is now available in Lime Green, Candy Lime Green, and Metallic Moondust Grey colours, with an ex-showroom price of Rs 3.43 lakh (ex-showroom).

The reason behind the reduced price is that Kawasaki now manufactures the Ninjas bikes in India. All three variants have new graphics and repositioned logo.

Not to forget, the new Moondust Grey colour is similar to the Aprilia RS 457's colour.

Kawasaki Ninja 300: Specifications

This sportbike comes with a 300cc engine, which delivers smooth acceleration at low RPMs and smooth performance at high RPMs. It has fine-atomizing injectors that deliver optimal fuel throughout.

The engine has a 6-speed transmission that draws a maximum power of 39PS at 11,000rpmand 26.1Nm of torque at 10,000rpm. The bike can easily achieve 180 kmph. The Ninja 300's piston has an aluminium coating for increased durability, accompanied by dual throttle valves.

Not just a Baby Ninja

The Ninja 300 has a nickname 'Baby Ninja' but so many parts of this Ninja are inspired by its elder sibling, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R. The diamond frame in the Ninja 300 features high-tensile steel components for high durability and strength yet easy to manouver.

This Ninja is positioned below the ZX-10R, but as seen on the latter, the former's cylinder features an open-dock design for excellent heat dissipation.

Moreover, the localised Ninja 300 has a 780mm seat height, which makes it ideal for all riders with different heights. The kerb weight is also 179 kg, plus it has a massive 17-litre fuel tank, which translates to a better range on a full tank.

Marketing

Initially, the Kawasaki Ninja 300 was one of the most expensive bikes in its segment, as it followed a CBU route, while carrying a price tag of Rs 3.50 lakh. However, now it's assembled in India and is priced at Rs 3.43 lakh.

But, as of June 2024, the Yamaha R3 is the most expensive bike in the 300cc category, costing Rs 4.64 lakh.

All are ex-showroom figures.
