Jeep India has buckled up to bring the new midlife facelift avatar of their legendary offroad SUV, the Jeep Wrangler. This facelifted model was launched in other markets across the globe around a year ago and now it’s all set to make its way to the Indian shores on April 22, 2024.

Jeep Wrangler Facelift Specifications and Expected Pricing

Since this is a midlife update, there are no major build and design or interior layout changes but the SUV has received some minor cosmetic changes and new features for a refreshing look and feel.

The facelifted model gets a slightly slimmer front grille, of course, with the iconic seven-slat design, which has been the brand’s identity since its inception. The variant launched globally has ten options of alloy wheels, starting with 17 inches and going up to 20 inches. There also is an option to get gigantic 35-inch optional tyres for extreme offroad adventure lovers. The vehicle also has a soft-top roof, as standard, with an optional body-coloured/black hard top, and a few other layouts.

The SUV gets a 12.3-inch infotainment screen mounted centrally above the AC vents on the car's dashboard. This infotainment unit supports features, like wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, connected car features, offroad trail guide, and more. It also gets 12-way power-adjustable front seats and a semi-digital instrument cluster.

Propelling this behemoth is a 2.0-litre turbo petrol mill, producing 270 hp and 400Nm. All this power and torque are produced via an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission and Jeep’s Selec-Trac full-time 4WD system. This powertrain setup is standard across the range.

The Jeep Wrangler is one of the best off-roading SUVs, globally, and has no direct rivals in India. It, however, faces some heat from the Land Rover Defender. The current ongoing variants Unlimited and Rubicon are priced at Rs 62.65 lakh and Rs 66.65 lakh, respectively. The facelifted version will, however, command a marginally higher price.
