Honda India is expected to bring their most powerful scooter, the Stylo 160. The Honda Stylo 160 is already on sale in Indonesia and the brand has now filed a patent in India, which indicates that this might arrive here very soon.

The Stylo 160 on sale abroad is loaded with modern features like a keyless entry, LED lighting, a digital instrument cluster, and so on. The scooter is offered in six colour options, Royal Green, Royal Matte White, Royal Matte Black, Glam Red, Glam Black and Glam Beige.

The patented image reveals a conventional scooter design with the headlights mounted on the handlebar and the indicators mounted below. The scooter also has circular rear-view mirrors for a classy retro look.

Honda uses a 156.9cc single cylinder liquid cooled engine which churns out 15.4hp at 8500rpm and 13.8Nm of torque at 7000rpm. The Stylo 160 runs on 12-inch wheels for better riding dynamics and it has disc brakes on both ends and dual-channel ABS for safety.

Honda dominates the entry-level 110cc and 125cc gearless scooter market in India. And, now they plan to diversify their scooter portfolio in our country and grab some share in the emerging premium scooter market. The Stylo 160 looks stylish and modern and has decently good performance figures which may result in making a benchmark.

Expected Pricing

Once launched, Honda Stylo will face heat from some established players in this segment, especially the Yamaha Aerox 155, which starts from Rs 1.47 lakh, ex-showroom. We can expect Honda to price the Stylo similarly.
