The Bangalore-originated EV manufacturer recently opened their first showroom in the national capital of India, Delhi. Following that occasion, the company took out an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs 1.10 lakh, for its flagship offering, the Oben Rorr electric bike.
Another noteworthy thing is that the price includes the state subsidy of Rs 20,000 for the first 100 buyers in Delhi. However, in other states, the same electric bike, Oben Rorr, carries a price tag of Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom), making it Rs 40,000 pricier.
Moreover, the Oben company has a roadmap to expand its portfolio, especially in Delhi. That said, it plans to establish a network of 12 showrooms and service centres within Delhi NCR. There will also be dedicated centres that will provide in-depth information and hands-on experiences with Oben EVs.
According to Oben, the company will also focus on providing seamless after-sales and service experiences via their Oben Care service centres.
They will also offer comprehensive after-sales and service support, including home pick-up and drop-off services.
Sharing her expression on this occasion, Madhumita Agrawal, Founder & CEO of Oben Electric, stated, “The Oben Rorr is entirely designed, developed and manufactured in India, which makes it a truly Made in India electric motorcycle brand and entering the national capital New Delhi marks a pivotal moment in the journey of Oben Electric.”
