We started our childhood with bicycles and then switched to motorbikes but cycle manufacturers and health experts always motivate citizens to use cycles for the environment and health.

As for EMotorad, this indigenous company came up with a new concept in 2020 but couldn't do well, due to their marketing strategies. Their concept comprised installing batteries on bicycles to make low-range e-bikes. The same business concept is revived by the company after roping in India's beloved personality, MS Dhoni.

He is now a stakeholder as well as a brand ambassador of EMotorad. He recently shot an ad for the brand that broke the internet; it has crossed more than 4.4 million views, and as a result, people started to notice the brand after it was released, “Bole Jo Koyal” by M.S. Dhoni. It was a great step by the marketing team.

Currently, the brand has listed around ten “ready-to-sale” electric bikes. The entry-level product starts at Rs. 24,999 and goes up to Rs. 64,999 for the flagship. It is also India's first two-wheeler product to manufacture dual-suspension e-bikes in this price range.

EMotorad has also listed accessories, safety gadgets, and bags. The company has divided its product list into two categories:

A)Desire range
B)X-factor range

Let’s scan the top flagship products of the brand:

EMX+: It's worth mentioning that the EMX series boasts India's first double suspension setup, plus the EMX+ variant has a range of 80 kilometres on full charge. It gets power from a 13 Ah (13,000 mAh) battery pack. The top speed is around 25kmph. This variant also gets five ride modes. This machine costs around Rs 64,999 and comes with a lifetime warranty.

EMX: It is very similar to the EMX; both models share the same frame- the aluminium alloy 6061. It also has the same suspension setup as its elder sibling. The range it can cover is around 50km, making it 30km less than the EMX+ model. The buyer will get 10.4 Ah, which has a lesser battery capacity than the 'Plus' version. The EMX bike's price is Rs 58,999.

T-Rex Air: Another iteration is the T-Rex Air from EMotorad. The bike has a range of 50km with a top speed of 25kmph. The T-Rex Air is powered by a 10.2 Ah battery pack. This lighter version doesn’t make you feel like you are compromising anything because it comes with five pedal-assist modes. The product costs around Rs 34,999 and has a 5-year warranty.

X1: This one is the most affordable e-bike from the EMotorad's lineup, priced at Rs. 24,999. The maximum range of the bike is 40 kilometres. It is powered by a 7.65 Ah battery and offers a top speed of 25kmph. The X1 also comes with a 5-year warranty.

X2: This is the updated version of X1. The power, range, and battery capacity are the same, but on X2, you get a P9 LCD and better frame quality. The X1 has a high-tensile steel frame, while the X2 comes with a high-tensile step-through steel frame. It is priced at Rs 27,999 and comes with a 5-year warranty.

X3: Add more money to your X2 budget and own this one for more reliability. The top speed of the bike is the same as all models at 25 kmph. This bike can cover up to 50 kilometres and is powered by a 7 Ah battery. It is priced at Rs 32,999.

Legend 07: This model is dedicated to MS Dhoni, and the number ‘07’ represents the jersey number of the ex-Indian captain. It comes with a 5-year warranty, 40 KM is the overall range, and the top speed is 25 mph. To power the machine, the company has installed a 7.65 AH battery, and the final cost of this bike is Rs 29,999.

Doodle V2 and V3: What if I tell you that you can fold a bicycle and keep it in a small space? Yes, that's possible with the Doodle bike series. These folding bicycles are interesting, convenient and practical. If your height is around 5’6 feet or less, this can be the best option. The Doodle V2 costs Rs 49,999, while the V3 costs Rs 52,999. But it is worth noting that the V2 iteration doesn't have a folding feature, whereas the V3 has it.
