At the Bharat Mobility Auto Expo 2025, Tata Motors stole the limelight. A pioneer in the passenger
and commercial vehicle segment, the Tata Motors pavilion had an interesting collection of commercial
vehicles to showcase. From innovative compact pickup trucks to large electric buses, Tata Motors
essentially showcased the future of public mobility.
Spread vastly across the expanse of Hall Number 1, Tata Motors lined up its vision of India’s
workhorse for the coming years. Commercial vehicles need to be cost-effective for fleet owners and
take care of Mother Nature all while bearing the load of India’s development on endless highways and
rural roads – that’s exactly what you would have felt while visiting the Tata Motors commercial vehicle
pavilion.
Be it the Ace Pro Bifuel or the Intra EV pickup, the vehicles highlighted Tata Motor’s legacy of
engineering excellence worth decades, all while sticking to the core passion of Make in India for India
and for the world!
“The rapid shift toward green energy and mobility, an irreversible global megatrend, has made the
need for clean, zero-emission vehicles more urgent than ever. We are leading this revolution in India
with smart, holistic solutions delivering exceptional performance, reliability, and convenience. Our
customers have ready access to an expansive range of cleaner, greener mobility options for both
personal and commercial use,” said Mr. N Chandrasekaran, Executive Chairman, Tata Sons and
Chairman, Tata Motors.
Cutting-edge commercial vehicles for the world
With commercial vehicles making up most of the traffic on India’s busy highways and expressways,
Tata Motors took the initiative to enhance the safety factor. After making ADAS a standard feature in
its premium passenger vehicles, Tata is bringing ADAS safety features to its entire range of next-gen
commercial vehicles as a standard feature. From the smallest pickup truck to the largest electric bus,
ADAS will be there as a guardian to oversee the safety of drivers, goods and passengers.
Beyond ADAS, the vehicle platforms have been reworked to make it all better. The Ace Pro
showcased an all-new platform that encourages profitable and sustainable last-mile operations. The
Intra EV pickup brings the advantage of electric propulsion for a diverse range of commercial
applications. The Ace Flex-Fuel adds more versatility to the current range of Ace pincup trucks
whereas the Yodha CNG RMC is expected to provide a versatile and eco-friendly solution for the
infrastructure segment.
For the heavy-duty range, the Prima E.55S showcases battery electric powertrain to decarbonise
logistics operations across sectors whereas the Prima 35.K Auto Shift is aimed at deep mining
applications.
The showstopper, however, was the Prima H.28 – an indigenously developed Hydrogen-powered ICE
truck that promises a range of up to 550 km. The Intercity EV 2.0 passenger bus is another product that
could redefine long-distance travel, courtesy of its new-gen modular architecture. The Prima G.55S
promises an unmatched range of 2,400 km as India’s first LNG prime mover!
Vehicles like the Ultra E.12 and Ultra EV 9 promote the idea of emission-free, sustainable and smart
urban freight and people mobility solutions. The Magna Coach promises unmatched comfort and
performance whereas the Azura T.19 with a bio-diesel powertrain with a future-ready design and an all-
new architecture makes commercial operations ready for the next generation.
Hence, regardless of the challenges that India’s development efforts throw at fleet operators and
commercial segment, Tata Motors’ entire commercial vehicle segment will be ready to tackle
everything.
