Car Discounts In April 2025: Top Offers From Maruti Suzuki and Tata EV

In a bid to push car sales in April 2025, automakers have been raining huge car discounts across most mass-centric models. Be it Maruti Suzuki or Tata.ev, there are some huge discounts for car buyers to be exploited. Brands and dealers are eager to push out MY2024 stocks as soon as possible in a bid to make space for the newer MY2025 stocks. At the same time, lucrative offers are being made on midrange sedans and premium EVs to boost sales in these otherwise low-demand segments. 

Here’s a quick look at some of the top deals that you can grab from India’s top two auto manufacturers.

Top deals on Tata.ev vehicles

Tata Curvv EV

For the Curvv EV coupe SUV, Tata.ev is offering a standard discount of INR 70,000 on MY2024 stock. For the fresher MY2025 stock, Tata is offering an exchange/scrap bonus of INR 30,000 and a loyalty bonus of INR 50,000. These are great offers for someone seeking a coupe SUV with an electric powertrain.

Punch EV

The MY2024 stocks of the Punch EV’s Smart and Smart+ variants offer benefits of up to INR 45,000. The medium and long range variants offer benefits up to INR 70,000 and if you get the faster 7.2kW AC fast charger, the benefits go up to INR 90,000. From the MY2025 stock, the Punch EV comes with a standard discount offer of INR 50,000.

Nexon EV

For the MY2024 stock, the Nexon EV gets benefits of up to INR 40,000 across all models. As far as the MY2025 stock is concerned, Tata Motors is offering an exchange/scrappage bonus of INR 30,000 and a loyalty bonus of INR 50,000 on exchanging an old Tata car. 

Tiago EV

For the MY2024 stock of the Tiago EV, Tata Motors is offering discounts of up to INR 1 lakh on its long-range variants. The top-spec XZ+ variants offer up to INR 70,000 of discounts whereas the midrange XE and XT variants only offer discounts of INR 55,000 and INR 75,000, respectively. As far as the MY2025 variants are concerned, the Tiago EV, except for the XZ+ variant, gets benefits up to INR 50,000.

Deals on Maruti’s NEXA cars

Ignis

Those opting for the Ignis in manual transmission can avail discounts of INR 55,000. The AMT variants of the Ignis come with discounts of INR 60,000. 

Baleno

The AMT variants of the Baleno come with a cash discount of INR 25,000 and a scrappage bonus of INR 25,000. Manual transmission variants offer the total benefits of INR 45,000. Note that the base Sigma variant doesn’t get any discount at the moment.

Maruti XL6

The XL6, which is the more family-oriented and premium version of the Ertiga MPV, is offered with an exchange bonus of INR 20,000 and an additional scrappage benefit of INR 25,000. 

Ciaz

The Ciaz sedan has been discontinued lately but that hasn’t stopped dealers from giving sweet deals in a bid to clear the stocks. Dealers are offering up to INR 10,000 worth cash discount along with an exchange bonus of INR 25,000 or a scrappage bonus of INR 30,000. 

Fronx

Maruti is offering big discounts on the Fronx’s turbo petrol variants. The Fronx Turbo gets a cash discount of INR 35,000, a free Velocity Kit accessory package worth INR 43,000 and a scrappage benefit of INR 15,000 or an exchange bonus of INR 10,000. The 1.2-litre non-turbo petrol engine Fronx gets overall benefits of INR 35,000 whereas the CNG variants only get the exchange bonus of INR 10,000 or the scrappage bonus of INR 15,000. 

Jimny

The Jimny’s top-end Alpha variant comes with a cash discount of INR 1 lakh, thus making a good deal for offroad enthusiasts. There are no discounts on the Jimny’s Zeta variant. 

Grand Vitara

The mild hybrid variants of the Grand Vitara SUV come with discounts of up to INR 95,000, whereas the strong hybrid variants come with maximum benefits of up to INR 1.15 lakh. Note that these benefits include scrappage and exchange bonuses along with free extended warranty and some cash discount.

Invicto

The Invicto MPV comes with benefits of up to INR 1.4 lakh, which includes an exchange bonus of INR 1 lakh or a scrappage offer of INR 1.15 lakh and a cash discount of INR 25,000. Note that this benefit is available for the range-topping Alpha+ variant. 

Deals on Maruti’s ARENA cars

Alto K10

The Alto K10 is currently available with price benefits of up to INR 65,000 on both manual and AMT variants. The CNG variant of the Alto K10 gets overall price benefits of up to INR 60,000. 

S-Presso

The S-Presso, which is based on the Alto K10, gets a maximum discount of INR 60,000 on the AMT variants. The manual transmission variant in petrol and CNG get benefits of up to INR 55,000. 

Celerio

The Celerio hatchback is a notable step up from the Alto K10, offering a lot of equipment and more space. The Celerio AMT variant comes with overall price benefits of up to INR 65,000, which includes either the scrappage or exchange bonus. The manual transmission variants reduce that figure to INR 60,000. 

Wagon R

The Wagon R scores high on interior space despite having compact external dimensions. The Wagon R AMT variants come with overall price benefits of INR 65,000, regardless of whether you choose the 1-litre 3-cylinder engine or the 1.2-litre 4-cylinder engine. The manual transmission variants in both petrol and CNG get overall price discounts of INR 60,000. 

Swift

The Swift has been a driver’s choice in the compact hatchback segment and the new model amplifies the comfort and fuel efficiency factors over everything else. The manual and AMT versions of the Swift petrol come with overall discounts of INR 50,000. The Swift CNG variant, on the other hand, comes with an overall price discount of INR 45,000. 

Brezza

The Brezza compact SUV only comes with an exchange bonus of INR 15,000 on the LXi and VXi variants. The top-spec ZXi and ZXi+ variants come with either an exchange bonus of INR 15,000 or a cash discount of INR 10,000.
