Royal Enfield is gearing up to bring the Bullet 650 to the market. This bike is rumoured to be the most affordable Royal Enfield to date. The brand has recently filed a nameplate patent for “Bullet 650 Twin” confirming all the development around this bike.

Royal Enfield Bullet 650 Twin: Everything You Need to Know

The modern retro manufacturer already has a long list of 650cc motorcycles available in the country and this addition will diversify the portfolio further. There are no exact details available yet but rumours suggest the Bullet may arrive by the end of this year.

Even though it will be positioned as the most affordable Royal Enfield 650 offering, we expect it to arrive with features like LED headlamps, and signature bullet pilot lamps, plus it may retain the orange bulb indicators, paying homage to the OG bullet.

Propelling the Bullet 650 Twin will be the legendary 650 parallel twin mill, doing duty on existing Royal Enfield 650 models like the Super Meteor 650, Continental GT 650, and others. This motor produces 47hp and 52.3Nm on other models, we can expect similar numbers for this bike, however, the state of tune and power band may be slightly altered to suit the different character of the motorcycle.

As it is evident in the leaked image, the motorcycle will be running on spoke wheels and most probably have tube tyres. Suspension duties will be handled by conventional forks up front and the rear will have twin shock absorbers. The motorcycle will have disc brakes on both ends and ABS for safe stopping.

The current entry-level 650cc Royal Enfield is the Interceptor, which starts at Rs 3.27 lakh (ex-showroom). So, we can expect the Bullet 650 Twin to be priced lower than this because it is expected to be positioned as the new entry-level 650cc motorcycle.
