The Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Kawasaki has launched a new version of the Eliminator 500. They come with only new colour variations. But it's worth noting that this update is exclusive to the European market.

The brand has launched three new paint schemes for the Eliminator 500: Metallic, Flat Spark Black, and Pearl Robotic White. And, in the near future, the bike will be available in two variants: Standard and SE.

New paint schemes Flat Spar Black and Pearl Robotic White are available for the standard model, and the SE variant will get Metallic Carbon Grey/Flat Ebony. The new colours and variants will be available from 2025 onwards. The units, however, will arrive at the dealerships in October 2024.

Kawasaki Eliminator 500: Overview

The Kawasaki Eliminator is a middle-weight cruiser motorcycle; in India, it is sold as a Completely Built-In Unit (CBU), and it is powered by a 451cc, parallel-twin engine that produces 49 bhp and 38 Nm of torque. This bike looks very similar to the Kawasaki Vulcan S. The Eliminator 500, however, is structured on a steel trellis frame.

The front suspension is telescopic, and a pair of shock absorbers at the rear. This bike's braking setup includes a single disc on the front and the rear, and both have dual-channel ABS for better braking and traction. Further, it rides on an 18/16-inch alloy wheel.

Cruiser motorcycles usually have a low seat height and a long wheelbase. The same can be found on the Eliminator, as it has a seat height of 735mm and a 1.48m long wheelbase. But this seat height makes it accessible for short-height riders.

The machine's kerb weight is 176 kg, and the ground clearance is 150 mm. The bike's headlamp and taillamp are illuminated with LEDs. Kawasaki has featured a circular-shaped TFT instrument cluster with two physical buttons and three notification lights.

The Kawasaki Eliminator 500 directly competes with the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650, but the latter is quite aggressively priced.
