This is the bike-rain era in the Indian automobile market. We have witnessed some eye-opening aggressive pricing from Bajaj bikes, including the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z and NS250, alongside a popular invention like the Bajaj CNG bike, called the Freedom 125. We are proud that the Bajaj Freedom 125 is the world's first CNG bike, which is made in India.

Besides that, the company is also gearing up to take out a new iteration of its 125cc commuter bike - the Pulsar N125. This upcoming bike was spied testing and was under wraps, but it showed some notable details.

And seeing those details, we can say that Bajaj has changed the look and feel of commuter bikes.

This N125 will be more expensive than the Pulsar 125, but less expensive than the Bajaj Pulsar NS125.

Bajaj Pulsar N125 STD Specifications:

The upcoming Pulsar N125 STD is expected to feature a different engine from the Bajaj Pulsar 125 and Bajaj Pulsar NS125.

In contrast, several reports indicate that the Bajaj Pulsar N125 is likely to use the same 124.45-cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 11.8PS and 11Nm of torque. Additionally, the spotted test mule indicates an underbelly exhaust setup.

The spy shots also hint that the new Pulsar may not include many electronic features due to its lower cost, but it may still include a digital instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity, similar to the N150. However, it may lack a turn-by-turn navigation system, but that will be confirmed once launched.

Further, the spied shots confirmed that it will have an LED headlight and Pulsar-style long taillight, but halogen bulb indicators. On the mechanical side, it may feature 17-inch wheels with drum brakes on the rear, supported with ABS and the company may offer disc brakes on the front.

It will have a conventional fork on the front and a mono-shock suspension system on the rear.

Expected Price:

Bajaj and its competitors are introducing bikes at highly competitive prices, revolutionizing the premium commuter bike market. In the past, Hero has launched the Hero Xtreme 125r for under Rs 1 lakh, while Bajaj’s own Pulsar 125 starts from Rs 82,000, and the Pulasr NS125 costs Rs 1.12L.

So, for N125, Bajaj may fix the price tag at around Rs 90,000. Once launched, it may become one of the fastest 125cc commuter bikes at that price.
