Bentley has added a Black Edition version to their Bentayga S SUV. The brand defines this SUV as the "most striking Bentley ever produced." As the 'Black Edition' name suggests, the SUV follows an all-black interior and exterior design theme. Both Bentayga S and Bentayga S Hybrid can be had in the Black Edition.

Bentley Bentayga S Black Edition: Exterior Design

Bentley has given the Bentayga S Black Edition a blacked-out logo which is the first-ever car by the brand to receive this cosmetic change. Other than the logo, the headlamp is tinted black, and the 22-inch alloy wheels are finished in black. The whole exterior follows an all-black theme; justifying the car’s name. Additionally, there are seven options for the secondary paint- Beluga, Klein Blue, Signal Yellow, Pillar Box Red, Ice, Hyper Green, and Mandarin. The secondary paint runs on the lower section of this SUV, which can be found on the brake callipers, front and rear bumpers, side skirts, and rear spoiler. Plus, this version has a Black Edition nameplate on the D-pillar.

The colour accents theme continues in the car's interior too. It is visible on the Beluga leather-wrapped seats, dashboard, door pads, and around the centre console. Carbon fibre and dark chrome have also been used to make the car’s interior match the exterior all-black theme. Additionally, three music system options are available: the Bentley Signature system, Bang & Olufsen, and Naim audio system, which have been carried over from the standard Bentley Bentayga S.

Bentley Bentayga S Black Edition: Powertrain

Bentley Bentayga S Black Edition gets two powertrain options- a 4.0-litre twin turbo V8 producing 550hp and a 3.0-litre V6 petrol-hybrid powertrain producing 462hp. The V8 petrol model can go from 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.5 seconds whereas the hybrid version takes 5.3 seconds. The Bentayga S Black Edition can also be configured with the optional 'All-Terrain' setup, which has a 500mm water-wading capacity, and four off-road modes (Snow and wet, Grass, Dirt and gravel, Mud and Trail).

Bentley Bentayga S Black Edition: Pricing and Availability

India's availability of this is still being determined. Bentley currently sells standard Bentley Bentayga in India, which starts at Rs 5 crore and goes up to Rs 6.75 crore (average ex-showroom). If Bentley launches the Bentayga S Black Edition, we can expect it to be marginally pricier than the standard Bentayga.
