British luxury automaker Bentley has added another variant to their luxury sport SUV, the Bentayga Apex. This newly added iteration is lighter than all other Bentayga variants, as far as the weight is concerned, thanks to the carbon fibre panels.

Bentley Bentayga Apex: Design, Features, Performance and Pricing

The star of the show here are carbon fibre components, which have not only enhanced this car’s sporty appearance but also made the car lighter by 44kg as compared to the Bentayga S. The SUV gets 10-spoke 22-inch carbon fibre alloy wheels, carbon fibre inserts in the interior, plus carbon-ceramic brake rotors have been used to shred as much weight as possible while making no compromise on the performance front.

This limited edition masterpiece has been designed by Bentley’s in-house ‘Mulliner division’ and is being praised as the “most dynamic-looking and driving Bentayga ever.” Another point worth mentioning is the limited production of only 20 units for customers across the globe.

Bentley offers the Bentyaga Apex edition in six exclusive colourways with a stripe running from nose to tail. However, if the buyer is willing to spend extra to make their exclusive car even more distinct, then the brand can also produce a custom unit as per the buyer's requirements.

The Bentley Bentyaga Apex edition's interior too is loaded with plush luxury materials. Mulliner has used carbon fibre inserts on the dashboard and the centre console to make the car look sporty and reduce weight.

The performance components of the car remain intact without any major changes. Propelling the Bentayga Apex is a 4.0-litre twin turbo V8 petrol burner, churning out a whopping 534.5hp of maximum power and 700Nm of peak torque. These power figures help the car achieve a 0 to 100 kph timing of 4.4 seconds and a claimed top speed of 290 kph.

Only twenty units of the Bentley Bentayga Apex will be produced. There are no known plans for this car’s India launch. Even the pricing details are yet to be announced by the brand.
