The company cited the surged input and transportation costs, therefore, the hike will be implemented from June 1, 2024. The expected price hike ranges between Rs 90,000 and Rs 4.50 lakh, depending on the model.
Subsequently, the first hike of 2024 on Audi cars was on January 1. That was also surged by 2%.
The current lineup of Audi India comprises A4, A6, A8 L, Q3, Q3 Sportback, Q5, Q7, Q8, S5 Sportback, RS5 Sportback, RS Q8, Q8 50 e-tron, Q8 55 e-tron, Q8 Sportback 50 e-tron, Q8 Sportback 55 e-tron, e-tron GT, and RS e-tron GT.

According to last year’s news in 2023, most of the car sales were primarily impacted due to a disrupted supply chain.
Further, Audi’s Indian division also declared the sales of their pre-owned car wing, Audi Approved: Plus. They witnessed a 50% increase in sales in FY23-24, and 25% in the first quarter (Q1) of 2024.
Lastly, Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, stated, “Rising inputs costs are compelling us to increase prices by up to 2% effective June 01, 2024. The price correction aims to ensure sustainable growth for Audi India and our Dealer partners. As always, it's our endeavour that the impact of rising costs is as minimal as possible for our customers.”
