Not long ago, the facelifted version of the Mahindra XUV300 was recently spotted with a heavy camouflage. This vehicle is in the final testing stage as it nears the launch.

Plus, the upcoming Mahindra car will be heavily updated from inside and outside.

In terms of competition, this vehicle goes up against the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, and Hyundai Venue, to name a few.

We will tell you the offerings that will be there on this homegrown SUV. So, let’s delve into the offerings.

What to expect outside?

Starting from the outside, the XUV300 facelift has undergone heavy cosmetic updates from bumpers to lights. The design cues are heavily taken from Mahindra’s BE line-up of SUVs. Their electric portfolio will officially commence from 2025 onwards.

However, the XUV300 facelift’s design language will blend with the 2024 Tata Nexon and other 2024 cars in the sub-compact SUV segment.

Considering these spy images, this vehicle will have a more angular front fascia with completely tweaked drop-down front LED DRLs. The whole headlamp setup will be fully redesigned. The front grille, too, will have a tweaked design- two grilles apart, coupled with a larger central air intake.

At the rear, the 2024 XUV300 facelift will have distinctive revised taillamps. The most eye-catching part at the rear will be the full-width LED light. The revised rear lights make the car more modern, blending with its new-age rivals. Further, the registration plate is now on the bumper instead of the tailgate, unlike the pre-facelift version.

Further, the overall silhouette of the upcoming Mahindra XUV300 remains retained.

What to expect inside?

The 2024 Mahindra XUV300 will borrow a few interior design cues from the updated Mahindra XUV400 (EV), including the features list. That said, you can expect twin 10.25-inch screens, ventilated seats (cooling function only), a 360-degree camera, and rear A/C vents, to name a few.

What to expect under the hood?

Powering the upcoming XUV300 will be the current engine options that are BS6 Phase-2 updated. That includes a 1.5-litre diesel, a 1.2-litre direct injection turbo petrol (TGDi), and a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol unit. Plus, it will be available in manual and automatic units. As per rumours, the XUV300 facelift is also expected to cater to EV buyers, and once launched, it will rival the Tata Nexon EV.

When is the launch?

As per reliable sources, the indigenous automobile manufacturer is expected to launch the Mahindra XUV300 facelift in mid-2024.
