The 2024 iteration of the Suzuki Avenis 125 has finally launched in India at Rs 92,000 (ex-showroom). Suzuki has rolled out new colour schemes and has given subtle design updates to this 125cc scooter.

The Suzuki Avenis is among the bestselling Suzuki scooters in our country. It was long due for an update, but it has finally received one.

Expressing himself on this newly launched iteration, Kenichi Umeda, Managing Director of Suzuki Motorcycles India Pvt Ltd., stated, The Suzuki Avenis has been well received by young Indian riders for its stylish mobility solutions. With its fresh and updated look, the 2024 Suzuki Avenis is expected to appeal to GenZ riders who seek both excitement and convenience in their daily commute. We believe that this launch will meet customer expectations and enhance the urban riding experience with its blend of style, technology, and performance.”

So, let’s take a quick look at the new offerings, given by the updated 2024 Suzuki Avenis 125.

Design

The 2024 version of the updated Suzuki Avenis 125 has received a refreshed visual appearance.

There is also a single-tone colour scheme, limited to the Glossy Sparkle Black.

Besides receiving new body paints, the updated Avenis 125 has also received new graphics and Suzuki lettering on the side panels.

Features

Given the price of the 2024 Avenis scooter, which is at Rs 92,000, this vehicle has a generous number of features.

This Indian-manufactured 125cc scooter hosts a fully digital instrument cluster, which also works with the updated Bluetooth connectivity. The presence of Bluetooth connectivity translates to the availability of telematics (connected vehicle technology) and other related features.

That said, the Avenis 125 supports the Suzuki Ride Connect app. Once connected to that app, the digital display can show you turn-by-turn navigation, call alerts, SMS, and WhatsApp alerts.

For added convenience, this offering has a USB charging port, a silent starter mechanism, a front rack, utility hooks, a side-stand interlock for safety, and an integrated engine start button. It also has an all-LED lighting at the front and rear, an external fuel cap, and an adequate 21.8-litre under-seat storage compartment.

The 2024 Avenis has a seat height of 780mm.

Specifications

In this department, the Suzuki Avenis 125 has retained its mechanical setup. It continues to be powered by a 124cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, which is tuned to churn out 8.5bhp at 6750rpm and 10Nm of peak torque at 5500rpm. This engine makes the rear wheel spin via a CVT automatic gearbox.

It has a fuel tank capacity of 5.2 litres.

The Suzuki Avenis 125’s mileage is rated at 49.6kmpl. This is an ARAI-claimed figure.
