After launching the updated 200 Duke, KTM India has finally launched the highly anticipated 250 Duke for the year 2024. The motorcycle now gets new instrumentation and many cosmetic updates which make this a compelling offering in its segment.
New Updates on the 2024 KTM 250 Duke
The biggest highlight of the 2024 KTM 250 Duke is going to be the 5-inch TFT instrument screen. This screen is very similar to the one found on its elder sibling, the 390 Duke. Interestingly, KTM recently updated the 200 Duke with the same display and they have given the exact same unit to this machine as well.
The motorcycle also borrows its switchgear from the elder sibling, the 390 Duke, and it now gets the four-way menu switch, making the browsing and selection of functions much easier.
Other than this, the motorcycle has gone through a visual overhaul, and it now gets the same LED DRLs as the 390 Duke, which revamps the face of this 200cc KTM bike in a good way.
To distinguish it from the 390 Duke, KTM has retained the sleek side panels on the 250 Duke’s tank, which are much bigger on the bigger machine.
Performance of the 2024 KTM 250 Duke
In terms of mechanicals, the 2024 KTM 250 Duke retains its renounced 250cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder petrol burner which churns out 31hp of power and 25Nm of torque. The motorcycle is still utilizing the same new generation trellis frame and cast Aluminum subframe seen on the current 390 Duke.
The 2024 KTM 250 Duke weighs 163kg and it retains its 15-litre fuel tank capacity. The motorcycle also retains its rider features like the switchable ABS and bi-directional quick-shifter which make the riding experience delightful.
Pricing of the 2024 KTM 250 Duke
The new 250 Duke slots perfectly between the 200 Duke and 390 Duke. The pricing has gone up slightly at Rs 2.41 lakh (ex-showroom), but, the additional features and visual enhancements perfectly justify it.
