As we reported earlier, the 2024 Hyundai Alcazar facelift is finally going to mark its India debut on September 9, 2024. This updated three-row SUV will have extensive styling on the inside and outside. Speaking of outside, its front fascia will now blend with the new-age Hyundai cars, such as the facelifted Hyundai Creta.

Hyundai Alcazar Facelift

After officially seeing the new Hyundai Alcazar’s exterior, we have finally received the images of its interior from the brand. So, let’s delve into the offerings of this new Korean SUV.

Overview

The new Hyundai Alcazar facelift’s interior is inspired by the updated 2024 Creta cabin’s design language and has received a lot of new features.

Having said that, this three-row SUV has received dual screens - one for the touchscreen infotainment unit and another for the digital instrument cluster. Both screens have a measurement of 10.25 inches.

In addition, there is also a digital display, dedicated to the HVAC setup. As for the HVAC with a soft-touch panel, the aircon vents are now re-positioned below the touchscreen.

Aside from that, the new Alcazar continues to have a dual-tone upholstery colour but it’s now offered in different shades - Noble Brown and Haze Navy (blue). To give a more premium feel, this dual-tone colour scheme is complemented with brushed aluminium and gloss back inserts.

Reportedly, the upholstery of this vehicle is now better cushioned, and thanks to the foldable armrests, more space can be created. The 6-seater variant incorporates captain seats in the second row, while the 7-seater variant offers a tumble-seat mechanism for convenient ingress and egress access to the third row.

The front seats (driver and co-driver) now get ventilated seats (cooling only), while the second row adds more convenience by receiving a wireless charger and dual USB Type-C ports.

It is also worth mentioning that the 6-seater Alcazar boasts a seat ventilation feature in all four individual seats, plus the second row includes adjustable under-thigh supports and headrests (with side bolstering), and the third-row seats are finished in blue.

Further, the new Alcazar offers a Bose-sourced premium audio system, quilted patterned seats, auto HVAC, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, and multi-colour ambient lighting. The driver and co-driver seats are electrically adjustable.

In the safety department also, this updated three-row Hyundai SUV is loaded. It has a Level-2 ADAS, a 360-degree view camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system, hill-descent control, hill-hold control, 6 airbags, and an electronic parking brake, to name a few.

Specifications

As far as the specifications go, the new Hyundai Alcazar will continue to have the same engine options as the outgoing iteration. It will be available in petrol and diesel, both with a 1.5-litre engine.

The turbo-petrol engine is tuned to produce 157.8bhp and 253Nm of peak torque, and it’s mated to a standard 6-speed manual and an optional 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

In contrast, the turbo-diesel engine pumps out 114.4bhp and 250Nm of peak torque, and this is available with a standard 6-speed manual and an optional 6-speed automatic gearbox.

Further, this vehicle has three drive modes - Sport, Comfort, and Eco. Additionally, there are three options for traction control - Snow, Sand, and Mud.

Pricing and Variants

Hyundai India will sell the three-row Alcazar in four variants - Executive, Prestige, Platinum, and Signature.

And, for the colour options, this vehicle will be available in Abyss Black Pearl, Atlas White, Fiery Red, Ranger Khaki, Robust Emerald Matte, Robust Emerald Pearl, Titan Grey Matte, Starry Night, and Atlas White with Abyss Black roof.

This updated SUV will command a slightly more premium over its outgoing version.

As mentioned earlier, Hyundai will launch the 2024 Alcazar on September 9, 2024. Interested patrons can book this vehicle at a token amount of Rs 25,000 via Hyundai India website or at the nearest dealership. Deliveries are likely to commence from that month onwards.
