After taking social media by storm with the official unveiling, Tata Sierra has finally launched in the Indian market. The old-school SUV with the modern touch has been released with an introductory price of Rs 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Interested customers will be able to pre-book the model from December 16, while the deliveries will kickstart from 15 January 2026.

Tata Sierra engine options and Specs

Putting a proper full stop on all the confusion, the company has confirmed the engine options. The new-generation Sierra will be available in three powertrain options,  four variants, and six colour options. It will use the company’s newly introduced 1.5-litre GDi turbo petrol. It will generate a maximum power of 158bhp and 255Nm.

Tata Sierra Interior, Features and Rivals

Inside the cabin, Tata Sierra has carried forward the same illuminated Nexon-inspired steering wheel. The interior looks quite similar to the Curvv. However, some cosmetic tweaks have been made to make it look premium. Scroll down to know the top highlights and features.

Aesthetically, the Tata Sierra comes with a dominating stance, featuring a boxy silhouette and a full-LED setup at both ends. The connecting DRL treatment has been given at both front and rear profiles. The ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors) are painted glossy black, adding extra to feather its cap. 

As far as the rivals are concerned, the model is expected to compete against the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and Skoda Kushaq.
