After ruling the off-roading segment with the Himalayan 450 in ICE (Internal Combustion Engine), Royal Enfield is now all set to bring an electrified avatar of the ADV. Ahead of the official launch, a test mule has been spotted multiple times, and even at the recent Motoverse 2025. Now, the main question: will it arrive with the same style statement? Let’s dig in.

The company has not revealed any official details about the upcoming model so far. However, it seems the brand is no longer shy about showing off the prototype. Going by the images, the test mule may receive some cosmetic changes by the time it reaches final production.  Some reports suggest that if the test mule meets expectations with current weight management, the brand may retain much of its design language.

Speaking of highlights, the prototype features a very aggressive stance from every angle, mirroring the posture of its ICE sibling. At the front, there’s no beak-style mudguard, giving it a cleaner and more aesthetic look—possibly contributing to improved handling.

The e-Himalaya sports a fresh LED headlight setup, while the windscreen appears slightly larger compared to the ICE version. The protective cage around the tank shroud remains unchanged. The company might also carry forward the single-piece seat into production.

The rear carries a clear rally-inspired vibe, thanks to the extended tail, all-terrain tyres, and raised fender. The golden cross-spoke wheels add a striking visual touch. Both ends are suspended by electronically adjustable Ohlins suspension. Braking duties are handled by Nissin callipers paired with a Brembo master cylinder.

At its core, the e-Himalayan might use a 14kWh battery pack. We expect the motor to produce anywhere between 60–80hp, depending on the riding mode. As for range, customers can likely expect a respectable figure of around 200km to 250km on a single charge.
