The premium audio scene in India just got more interesting with the launch of Sennheiser’s new HDB 630 headphones. Priced at ₹44,990, this pair is clearly aimed at people who take their listening seriously, not someone just hunting for loud bass on the go. Sennheiser positions the HDB 630 as a product that blends high-fidelity home audio quality with the ease of wireless use.
To sweeten the deal for early buyers, the brand is offering its Accentum Open earbuds (worth ₹12,990) for free with every pre-booking.
A Focus on Pure, Honest Sound
While many premium headphones chase heavy bass or strong noise cancellation, the HDB 630 takes a different route. Sennheiser is promoting “honest tuning,” meaning a cleaner, more natural sound. The mid-range stays clear, the treble remains open, and vocals or instruments don’t get muddy even in complex tracks.
The headphones support high-resolution audio up to 24 bit and 96 kHz whether you’re listening wired through USB-C or over Bluetooth. Audiophiles who want consistent quality across devices can also use the optional BTD 700 dongle, which ensures stable high-res transmission even from laptops or tablets with limited codec support.
Custom Sound the Way You Like It
Inside the Sennheiser app, users get a full parametric equaliser — something usually seen only in pro audio gear. This gives you fine control to tweak vocals, smooth out sharp highs, or build your own sound profiles from scratch. There’s also a Crossfeed feature that slightly blends the left and right channels to recreate a more speaker-like, natural listening experience.
Built for Long Listening Sessions
Design-wise, the HDB 630 borrows the comfortable frame of the Momentum 4, with soft ear cushions and a balanced clamping force to reduce fatigue during long use. Battery life is another strong point, offering up to 60 hours on a single charge. And if you’re in a rush, a quick 10-minute charge gives around seven hours of playback.
Sennheiser has also added long-term usability features like replaceable ear pads and a two-year warranty, reinforcing its focus on durability.
Availability in India
Pre-bookings for the HDB 630 are open from November 28 to December 4. Buyers can place orders through the official Sennheiser India website, Amazon India, Headphone Zone, Audio Store, Concept Kart, and select premium offline outlets.
