Mercedes-Benz has added a new star to its performance lineup in India with the launch of the Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 4MATIC+ Coupé, priced at ₹1.35 crore (ex-showroom). This latest addition is aimed at customers who want high performance without compromising on luxury.
Santosh Iyer, Managing Director & CEO of Mercedes-Benz India, said the model “completely redefines the luxury performance category,” highlighting that the brand’s top-end luxury strategy has been a big hit with eight new launches in 2025 so far.
Blending Sportiness and Elegance
The company describes the Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 4MATIC+ Coupé as a two-door car that merges the agility and sportiness of the C-Class with the space, elegance, and status of the E-Class. It’s designed to be both an engaging driver’s car and a refined luxury coupe.
Power and Performance
Under the hood, the car houses a 3.0-litre M 256M inline six-cylinder engine with double turbocharging. It delivers 330 kW (449 hp) at 5,800–6,100 rpm and 560 Nm of torque — which briefly rises to 600 Nm with overboost — between 2,200–5,000 rpm.
This setup enables the coupe to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds, with a top speed electronically capped at 250 km/h. For those who want more, the optional AMG Driver’s Package pushes it up to 270 km/h.
