Lava has officially confirmed that its next smartphone, the Blaze Duo 3, will launch in India soon. While the company only released a teaser showing off the design, an early listing on Amazon has already revealed nearly everything else about the device. It appears to be a direct follow-up to the Blaze Duo 5G, keeping the unique secondary screen that sets this series apart.
Two Screens Are Better Than One
The standout feature here is undoubtedly the second display on the back. Next to the cameras, there is a small 1.6-inch screen designed to handle quick tasks without you needing to unlock the main phone.
You can use this rear panel to check notifications, control your music, or even as a viewfinder to take high-quality selfies using the main rear camera. On the front, the phone sports a standard 6.6-inch AMOLED display with Full-HD+ resolution and a peak brightness of 1000 nits.
What’s Under the Hood
According to the Amazon listing, the Blaze Duo 3 will run on a MediaTek Dimensity 7060 chipset. It is paired with 6GB of fast LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage, which should offer decent speed for daily use.
The phone is expected to ship with the latest Android 15 operating system right out of the box. Keeping the lights on is a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
Cameras and Build Quality
For photography, Lava is using a 50-megapixel Sony IMX752 sensor for the main camera, which sits alongside the rear screen. Interestingly, the listing mentions an 8-megapixel front camera for video calls, which is a bit modest compared to some competitors.
The device itself is quite slim at just 7.55mm and weighs 181g. It also comes with practical extras like stereo speakers, an IR blaster to control appliances, and an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.
Market Context
Lava is trying to carve out a niche by offering premium-looking features—like the secondary screen usually found on much more expensive phones—at a budget-friendly price point. With the full spec sheet now in the open, the only real mystery left is the final price tag.
