The leading carmaker Kia has expanded its product line under its Syros lineup, and has added a new variant called HTX (EX). This allows the customers to have one more option to choose from. The latest offering has reached the dealership nationwide and is available for purchase.

Those who are interested can pre-book the newly launched variant by paying a fully refundable token. It can be reserved via the company’s authorised dealership and online via Kia’s official website. It has been priced between Rs 9.89 lakh and Rs 10.64 lakh (all ex-showroom). The model has been positioned on a similar shelf as the HTK (O) variant.
Kia HTX (EX) comes with a long list of elements that make it look dominant in its segment. From the outside, the SUV gets a fully LED headlight setup, paired with LED DRLs, and offers decent-sized cladding on the sides. It also gets impressive roof rails, automatic ORVMS with integrated turn indicators, and runs on the style 16-inch alloy wheels.

When it comes to the features, the customers get an electric sunroof, rear parking sensors with a rearview camera, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with all the wireless car connect technology, including Android, Auto and Apple CarPlay. As far as the safety package is concerned, it offers ABS with EBD, 6 airbags, speed alert, ESC, Hill Start Assist, Vehicle Stability Management and more.
Under the hood, the Syros uses a robust 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. It generates a maximum power of 118 BHP and 172 Nm. The company also offers the variant in a 1.5-litre diesel that churns out a maximum power of 114 BHP and 250 Nm. The unit is paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT gearbox. The latter one only gets a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
