The iQOO 15 is officially set to launch in China next month, and excitement is already building around the flagship. After opening pre-orders, the company has now released images of the phone, giving a first look at its design and two new colour options. On top of that, tipster Sanju Choudhary has shared fresh details about what the device could offer.
Design Highlights
Shared through Weibo, the images show the iQOO 15 with a triple-camera setup placed inside a squircle-shaped module, complete with an LED flash. One of the lenses is expected to be a telephoto sensor capable of up to 100x digital zoom.
The handset also features a metallic frame with a marble-like back panel. On the right edge, the power button and volume rocker are clearly visible, along with two antenna bands. The phone will be available in at least two colourways, one of which is called “Lingyun.” Official images show the device in a striking red finish and a sleek silver variant.
Expected Specifications
According to Sanju Choudhary, the iQOO 15 could sport a 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 2K resolution and an anti-reflective coating. It is expected to be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with a dedicated gaming chip for better performance. Storage and memory are likely to include LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 support.
Battery life could be another highlight, with the phone tipped to pack a massive 7,000mAh unit, supporting 100W wired charging and wireless charging as well. On the camera front, the iQOO 15 may come with three 50MP sensors—a primary 1/1.56-inch lens, an ultrawide shooter, and a telephoto lens.
Other expected features include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, an RGB light strip on the back, and durability ratings of IP68 or IP69 for water and dust resistance.
